Prayer Request

We offer many ways to raise an individual up with prayers from our congregations. Some options are public, others are privately held within the prayer group.

The Parish Prayer Chain is based at Transfiguration.  The Prayer Chain is a group of individuals who maintain confidentiality on the prayer requests.

 Earth Angels is another prayer group, based at St. Catherine.  Every prayer request is confidential for this group as well.  Both of these groups pray in private for the individuals.

And finally, at St. Catherine, Intercessions for the Sick are offered.  The names of these individuals can be projected at St. Catherine before each weekend Mass, so the parishioners can pray for them before and during the liturgy, placed in the intentions Prayer Book, or simply added to the Staff prayers. 

We have a new ministry at St. Catherine's called Lorraine's Caring Connection.  This ministry will send a hand-written note to individuals on the Intercessions for the Sick if it is requested and the address is provided.
