Parish council nominations!

It has been two years now that our parishes share one Pastoral Council. Last year was a blessed time to kick off Saint Catherine of Siena and the Church of the Transfiguration praying and working together. This year gifted us with enthusiastic and vibrant members working hard with one another. These spirited individuals continue to address what benefits our parishes with prayer and being open to the Holy Spirit.

It is now the time to come together and select new members as the terms of current members are coming to an end. The members whose terms are ending I want to gratefully thank them for their prayerfulness and stewardship these past three years.

I would like all registered parishioners to consider someone or even yourself as a candidate for the council. Two individuals and an alternate will be chosen from each parish. The term is for three years. Please pray about yourself or someone you believe would be a good representative from our parishes to serve. If you are thinking about someone other than yourself, please ask them if they are willing for consideration.

We are by our baptism to be One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic. Parish Pastoral Council offers us the opportunity to be One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic with one another. As the body of Christ, you and I are so blessed to be a member of these two wonderful parishes of ours.
